On behalf of Detroit Lions Nation, I want to thank you.
Thank you for hearing OUR voices. Thank you for sharing OUR passion for Detroit Lions football. And THANK YOU for hiring a head coach and general manager who not only are going to get US to the Super Bowl, but they are doing to get US there by doing things the right way.
I genuinely believe that your parents also had a passion for Lions football and I genuinely believe their intentions were to make Lions’ fans and the city of Detroit proud. But throughout the years, the wrong people were put in a position to build a roster and to lead the team to the promised land.
What you did by hiring Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell is you put two people in place who are going to work as one to build a team that is going to take on the identity of our community. They are going to bring in players (and keep players) who are not going to be afraid to leave it all on the field each and every week, whether that be during practice or during a game.
Because of that, WE are all going to win and WE are going to win big.
As fans, we promise to continue to support the Detroit Lions. We promise to always have ONE PRIDE in OUR team. And we promise to have the biggest celebration of all -time when WE win a Super Bowl!
