Ovechkin surpasses Fedorov for most goals by a Russian player in NHL history (Video)

Alexander Ovechkin just keeps piling up the goal-scoring records.

On Thursday night, after spending 4 games attempting to do so, he scored the 484th goal of his career, surpassing Sergei Fedorov’s 483 for the most goals by a Russian-born player in the NHL. He also did so in only 777 games, versus Fedorov’s 1248-game career. Fun fact: Nicklas Backstrom assisted on both Ovechkin and Fedorov’s record-breaking goals.

Way to go, Ovie.
