Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin was officially named the 37th captain in team history prior to last season, but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, there wasn't able to be any special pre-game ceremony recognizing the feat.
Former team captains Red Berenson, Paul Woods, Nick Libett, Dennis Hextall, Steve Yzerman, Alex Delvecchio, Lidstrom and Zetterberg were on hand to officially welcome the Waterford, MI native as the newest player to don the legendary “C” on his sweater.
