Round 2 – Jourdan Lewis (CB) Michigan
Ok, I know what you are thinking. NO this is not going to be an all-Michigan draft, but if Jourdan Lewis is still around when the Lions select in the 2nd Round, it would be a mistake not to take him. The Lions secondary was awful in 2016 and drafting a cornerback should be near the top of their want list.
One fear I have is that Lewis is undersized and will not be able to bang with the bigger receivers in the NFL, but there is no question about it that he is one of the best, if not THE BEST cover corner in the draft. If he has a great Senior Bowl week and performs well at the combine, Lewis could climb into Round 1.
