Round 3 – Zach Banner (OG) Southern California
Another position the Lions can improve is the offensive line. The best way to help out Matthew Stafford is to improve the rushing attack, which was pretty much non-existent in 2016. Larry Warford may have played his last game with the Lions and Laken Tomlinson is starting to look like a bust at the guard position so the Lions will likely need to draft a guard or obtain one via free agency.
If Zach Banner is available in the 3rd round, Bob Quinn should pull the trigger. Banner is a beast of a man at 6-8, 360 lbs and would immediately compete for a starting position on the Lions offensive line in 2017.
