Perfect Detroit Lions 2017 NFL Mock Draft: Every pick revealed [Vol. 1]

Round 4 – Larry Ogunjobi (DT) Charlotte

Did I mention that the Lions need to focus on defense? On Jan. 28, Larry Ogunjobi will become the first player from Charlotte to play in the Senior Bowl. As a 4-year starter for the 49ers, the 6-foot-2, 294 lb, Ogunjobi became the all-time leader in tackles, tackles for loss and sacks.

One problem the Lions had in 2016 is stopping the run and Ogunjobi happens to be very good at doing exactly that. In fact, according to Pro Football Focus, he was the top-rated interior lineman in the nation at stopping the run in 2016. Getting Ogunjobi in the 4th Round could end up being one of the biggest steals of the draft when all is said and done.
