Round 6 – Des Lawrence (CB) North Carolina
Des Lawrence is an interesting player because he could really improve his draft stock with a great combine. He broke out to some extent in 2015 but seemed to plateau a bit this past season at North Carolina. What’s intriguing about Lawrence is his size and length which is coveted by NFL GM’s. Improving at the cornerback position will be near the top of the Lions offseason wish list and if Lawrence is around in Round 6, they should snatch him up.
