The Detroit Pistons made several moves during the course of the 2018-19 NBA season, the most notable of which was the acquisition of Thon Maker from the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a three-team deal which sent Pistons forward Stanley Johnson to the New Orleans Pelicans.
However, another move they made was sending shooting guard Reggie Bullock to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Svi Mykhailiuk, who wasn't used much by the Pistons.

Bullock and the Lakers failed to qualify for the NBA Playoffs, and now he's a free-agent with something to prove. Could a return to the Motor City be in the works? According to to James Edwards of The Athletic, it's a possibility:
“Following the trade, the source said that Bullock understood the business aspect of the decision and would still be willing to return to the Pistons as a free agent if, again, the finances were in order. Bullock has been in the league since 2013 and hasn’t made more than $2.5 million in a season.”
In 19 games with the Lakers following the trade from Detroit, Bullock averaged just 9.3 points on 34.3% from three-point range, which were his lowest numbers in five seasons.
He's on record as saying he'd like to return to the Lakers, but whether or not they're willing to pay him the salary he's seeking remains to be seen.
