Pistons coach Dwane Casey takes blame for loss, compares Wizards to “wet hens”

The Detroit Pistons dropped a disappointing 133-109 decision to the Washington Wizards on Monday night at Little Caesars Arena.

During his post-game press conference, head coach Dwane Casey assumed responsibility for the setback.

“I take responsibility,” he said. “I didn’t warm ’em hard enough to come out ready to play. That this team was going to come out like wet hens and ready to attack us and they did. They did a good job of coming out and putting their foot on the pedal. The first and fourth quarters were indicative of our approach.”

I've never heard of such a comparison, but wet hens sure sound like quite the obstacle!
