Pistons receive good news on KCP

The Detroit Pistons received some good news on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s knee injury. An MRI didn’t reveal and ligament damage or muscle tears. The Pistons haven’t put a timetable on his return and he will be put on a short-term rehab plan.

Terrific news for KCP. He was having a terrific preseason following a great summer league. He had been shooting over 50 percent and averaging close to 17 points. Expect KCP to sit out the rest of the preseason with the starting 2-guard spot all but his at this point. No reason to play him in the preseason, just get him ready for when the games count.
