Detroit Pistons fans must have felt like they got kicked where the sun don't shine on Saturday as rookie Jaden Ivey injured his ankle during a Summer League game against the Washington Wizards.
The injury occurred in the first quarter when Ivey landed on the foot of Isaiah Todd of the Wizards following a long 3-point attempt. Todd was assessed a flagrant foul because he closed out on the shot.
Ivey wanted to stay in the game and he actually was able to do so to hit all three free throws but he was then taken out for the remainder of the contest.
Well, according to Ivey, he is just fine.
“Nun major,” Ivey tweeted. “I'm good.”
Nun major..I’m good🙏🏾
