They’re listed as six-point favorites over Loyola-Chicago, who are this year’s Cinderella story with four straight wins over Miami, Tennessee, Nevada and Kansas State.

Should the Wolverines defeat Loyola next Saturday, they’ll be the first team to ever advance to the title game without having to have beaten a fifth or higher seeded team. On their way to the Final Four, they defeated Montana, No. 6 Houston, No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 9 Florida State.
Michigan will be looking to advance to their second title game since 2013 when they fell short against Louisville. Their last championship came in 1989.
Meanwhile, Loyola is just the fourth 11-seed to advance to the Final Four, and have lost only two games so far in 2018.

Michigan Basketball can punch their ticket to the Final Four with a victory over Florida State, and their fellow Wolverines are following them all the way. Michigan Football wasn’t distracted by Friday being the first day of spring practice, and had plenty to say about the maize and blue on the hardwood.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh, for instance, had high praise and even thinks the Wolverines could have beaten the pros.
“Oh my gosh, the beasts,” Harbaugh exclaimed. “They’re beasts. I don’t think I’m going too far out on a limb here, but the way the team played the other night, they could have beat the Los Angeles Lakers.”
The Wolverines soundly defeated Texas A&M from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday by a 99-72 final.
