Predicting the Detroit Tigers Opening Day starting lineup (and starting pitcher)

We are just one week from Opening Day!

I never believed I would be typing those words on July 17th but here we are.

With that being said, here is what I believe the Detroit Tigers Opening Day lineup (and starting pitcher) will be when they take the field against the Cincinnati Reds.

RF Cameron Maybin

SS Niko Goodrum

DH Miguel Cabrera

1B C.J. Cron

2B Jonathan Schoop

LF Christin Stewart

3B Jeimer Candelario

C Austin Romine

CF JaCoby Jones

SP Matthew Boyd

When looking at the lineup, the only potential flips in the order I could see would be Schoop and Stewart and then Romine and Candelario. Stewart has been on fire in Summer Camp and it is possible that Ron Gardenhire wants his hot bat in the No. 5 hole rather than No. 6. This is a prove-it year for Candelario and I believe Gardy will give his every opportunity to turn things around after a rough 2019 campaign. That being said, as soon as Spencer Torkelson is ready for the Big Leagues, he will replace Candy at third base anyway.

Nation, what changes would you make to this starting lineup?
