Quandre Diggs Twitter exchange with former Lions’ DB Nevin Lawson is telling

On Tuesday, news broke that the Detroit Lions had traded S Quandre Diggs to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick and most Lions fans immediately decided they no longer believe in GM Bob Quinn to get the job done.

In fact, many Lions’ fans took to social media to blast Quinn for essentially trading a team captain for a bag of balls. Click the link below to check out some of the best reactions we found (that do not include multiple F-Bombs!)

Even some of Diggs’ current and former teammates voiced their opinion on Twitter.

It is very clear that Diggs will be missed by Lions’ fans and by his teammates, but is the feeling mutual?

Following the trade, Diggs’ first post to Twitter was a meme showing Kermit the Frog going crazy. It’s a meme that is often posted by somebody when they are excited.

Former Lions’ DB Nevin Lawson retweeted Diggs’ tweet with some choice emojis, showing he agreed with the excitement.

Diggs replied, “Nevo, you know what it is!!” followed by a reply from Lawson which said, “A blessing in disguise!”

Check it out.

Nation, it seems pretty clear that though Diggs will miss his teammates and the fans in Detroit, he is excited to be playing for a different team. It also sounds like Lawson is pretty happy to be playing elsewhere.
