From 1988-2017, the Palace of Auburn Hills was the home of the Detroit Pistons, and to say that many great memories were made there would be an understatement.
Not only did the Pistons win three NBA Championships while playing at the Palace but the Detroit Shock of the WNBA matched that during their short stint (1998-2009) in what was once a beautiful arena.
Now, what was once one of the premier arenas in the NBA is just a shell of its former self as demolition is well underway.
As you can see in the photos below, it will not be much longer until the Palace is completely demolished and all we will have left are the memories.
