Recent survey reveals which NFL fan base complains the most, and it’s not Detroit

It’s a broken record for all of us who are fans of the Detroit Lions at this point. One playoff win in 60 years, incompetent Ford family ownership, driving away franchise players, etc. The list is seemingly endless.

So it would certainly make sense for Lions fans to have plenty to complain about given their long history of suffering watching their team on Sunday.

However, according to a recent survey, the Lions fan base isn’t the NFL fan base that complains the most. In fact, they didn’t even make the top ten.

5,000 fans were surveyed by Mibets.com, and revealed that it is in fact the Dallas Cowboys fan base who complains more than any other. Dallas was followed by the Patriots, Bills, Bears and Eagles.

Where did the Lions end up? 15th.

Detroit Lions

There will certainly be plenty of people who disagree with Detroit’s placing on that list, considering their team history.

Matt Patricia talks consistency following win over Jaguars

The Detroit Lions were able to get back on track yesterday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, winning in decisive fashion.

Head coach Matt Patricia met virtually with media members Monday afternoon to recap his team’s performance, and he gave credit to his defensive in the way they shut down Jacksonville’s attack.

“I think those guys played hard on defense,” Patricia said. “I think they tried to step up to a challenge that we knew was going to be difficult against Jacksonville’s run game. I thought they executed well in those situations.”

When asked if he believes his team can carry the positive momentum from week to week following their win, Patricia talked of the importance of staying consistent, and the effect that the bye week had.

“We do want to put an emphasis on building from one week to the next,” he explained, “but we do understand that the opponents are different and everything they do may not transcend from one week to the next.”

“You want to stay consistent and even all the way through, but certainly you want to take what we were able to do yesterday and build on that,” he later continued. “I think it’s good for everybody to have some confidence in what we were doing, and honestly see what I call two weeks of work show up in the game.”

The Lions are now preparing for their next opponent in the Atlanta Falcons, who are a mere 1-5 on the season, mirroring the record of Jacksonville.
