Late in the game, Mantha was slammed to the ice by Maple Leafs D Jake Muzzin, causing the Red Wings forward to leave the game with a head injury.

Following the game, Red Wings center Dylan Larkin was asked about the play that injured Mantha and Larkin said the NHL needs to do something about ‘wrestling moves.’

“Yeah, it’s really scary,” Larkin told reporters. “When someone hits their head on the ice like that, uh, you know, it’s scary. I think it’s preventable. I don’t know, I think the league really needs to look at that and that can’t be… a wrestling move can’t be in our game like that. And you know there’s no defense to that.”

Nation, do you think Muzzin should be suspended for slamming Mantha to the ice?
