Red Wings defenseman Gustav Lindstrom registers first career point

Young Detroit Red Wings defenseman Gustav Lindstrom‘s name sound a lot like another defenseman who starred on Detroit’s blue line for two decades, but he’s looking to author his own story in the NHL.

And tonight, Lindstrom hit an important first milestone – his first career point. He assisted on forward Robby Fabbri’s second period tally against the Chicago Blackhawks, getting onto the scoresheet for the first time.
