Detroit Red Wings rookie defenseman Moritz Seider was injured in the 3rd period of last night’s loss to the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena, blocking a shot in the slot and leaving the ice hobbling in obvious pain. What’s worse, fans held their breath everywhere as Seider needed assistance from team trainers to make it down the tunnel towards the dressing room.
For a team already rife with defensive issues, losing one of the key bright spots on the roster would have been a nightmare scenario. However, it looks as though those fears will be alleviated.
Seider was seen skating during today’s skate in Arizona, and didn’t look any worse for wear:

Talk about a big time sigh of relief.
