Forward Darren Helm tallied his 7th goal of the season just 27 seconds into the contest, picking up his own rebound and burying it past Buffalo Sabres goaltender Carter Hutton. Forward Anthony Mantha picked up the assist in his first game since returning since suffering an injury in December.
