The Detroit Red Wings are stuck in a bad dream that just won’t end.
They’re 1-11-1 in their past 13 games, and have been outscored 55-24 during that stretch. Wednesday night’s 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers was also the fourth straight game they’ve lost by at least four goals.
Red Wings fans took to twitter to voice their frustration and anger with the team’s losing skid, and took particular aim at head coach Jeff Blashill.
@DetroitRedWings please fire Jeff Blashill…

Glad I went to the gym instead of watching beyond the 1st period of this Wings game. I know it’s early in the season still, but I’ve had enough of Jeff Blashill as head coach. Some players peak in college or the minors. Same for coaches. Jeff Blashill peaked at the AHL level.

Another Game, Another Blowout. The question for Yzerman is will we have another day with Jeff Blashill as our coach. Do your job Stevie Y. #RedWings

Does Jeff Blashill has a non firing clause in his contract?

I think the Jeff Blashill experiment is way overdue to be done there is no improvement on this hockey team
