The Detroit Red Wings powered their way to the 2002 Stanley Cup championship with arguably the greatest collection of talent that one team has ever featured.
Of course, one of the mainstays on that legendary team was grinding forward Kirk Maltby, a member of Detroit's famous “Grind Line”. Maltby himself scored twice in the Finals en route to winning his third of what would eventually be four championships.
Maltby himself joined Fox Sports Detroit host Trevor Thompson to reminisce about that legendary 2002 championship run, and some of the amazing party memories that came with it:
The 2002 @DetroitRedWings roster was a team for the ages. As Kirk Maltby tells it, that means parties and memories for the ages.
