According to reports, Steve Yzerman has made a decision on Detroit Red Wings RW Evgeny Svechnikov.
Nolan Bianchi is reporting that Yzerman will not make a qualifying offer to Svechnikov though there is still a small chance that he comes back on a two-way deal.
During the 2020-21 season, Svechnikov scored three goals and dished out five assists in 21 games.
The Red Wings won't make a qualifying offer to Evgeny Svechnikov, which shouldn't really come as a surprise.
It sounds like there's still a chance for him to come back on a two-way deal. I wouldn't hold your breath #LGRW
