Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman had his hands full for Trade Deadline day, making a pair of trades with former GM Ken Holland to send both Mike Green and Andreas Athanasiou to the Edmonton Oilers in separate deals.
And after the dust settled, the team has decided to make another roster move. Defenseman Gustav Lindstrom has been sent back down to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

In 10 games with the Red Wings, Lindstrom averaged 16:20 of ice time while also picking up 10 PIM and 13 hits. He has five assists in 45 games with the Griffins this season.
Lindstrom was originally selected by the Red Wings with the 38th overall pick in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
