The Red Wings will be looking for revenge in their second game against New Jersey this season, who completed a comeback 3-2 overtime win over Detroit on December 11th in Newark. The Devils currently sit in fourth place in the Metropolitan Division and are led by former Michigan Wolverine Mike Cammalleri’s 12 goals and 32 points.

December 26 @ Nashville Predators, 8:00 EST

Detroit heads into the Music City looking to sweep their season series with Nashville. Gustav Nyquist’s overtime goal completed Detroit’s comeback 5-4 victory over the Predators on December 5th, while Nashville defenseman Shea Weber recorded his first career hat trick in the loss. Goaltender Pekka Rinne, regarded as one of the NHL’s top goaltenders, currently sports a 2.38 goals-against-average.

December 28 @ Minnesota Wild, 8:00 EST

WILD

Hockeytown comes to the State of Hockey when the Red Wings visit Minnesota for a date with the Wild. Detroit won both games against Minnesota last season via the shootout. The Wild are currently 4th in the Central Division and are led by captain Mikko Koivu’s 29 points.
