During the Cincinnati Reds live pregame show on Wednesday, Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman did not realize he was on the air and made a homophobic comment that is sure to result in serious consequences.

During the fifth inning of the game, Brennaman apologized to anyone he hurt with his comment prior to handing the broadcast off.
The apology came as Nick Castellanos hit a solo home run to give the Reds a 4-0 lead.
