According to a report from The Detroit Free Press, the Pistons could possibly elect to deal Griffin if the season doesn’t go well.

A source has allegedly stated the Pistons could fetch a first round draft selection and an additional asset in return for a healthy Griffin at the deadline.

One obstacle, however, is Griffin’s hefty contract. He is set to make $34,234,964 this season, $36,595,996 in 2020-21 and has a player option worth $38,957,028 for the 2021-22 season.
