According to reports, the NFLPA leadership has said roster sizes are expected to be set at 80 at the start of training camp.
The Detroit Lions currently have 90 players on their roster, which means 10 players will be cut before even getting a chance to make the team.
In a call with players today, NFLPA leadership said roster sizes are expected to be 80 to start camp, source said. Not a surprise, GMs are working under this assumption.
