REPORT: Detroit Lions host Washington safety Taylor Rapp

According to a report from Jeff Risdon of Lions Wire, the Detroit Lions hosted Washington safety Taylor Rapp this week.

In three seasons at Washington, Rapp recorded 168 tackles, seven interceptions, and six sacks in 39 games.

From Lions Wire:

The 21-year-old admits he does his best work close to the line of scrimmage and prides himself on his hitting.

“I play the game violently, and I think that’s the way the game is meant to be played,” Rapp said in Indianapolis (to a question I personally asked him). “So any time you’re close to the action, close to the line of scrimmage, you get a chance to be violent and aggressive. I love that.”
