According to reports, the Detroit Lions have fired their director of pro scouting, Brendan Prophett.
As @InsideTheLeague first reported, Brendan Prophett is out as Lions director of pro scouting. Always heard good things about him from folks across the league. Quite sure he'll land on his feet somewhere.

There is no word yet on who will replace Prophett.
This move is interesting considering the NFL Scouting Combine is complete and the NFL Draft is less than a month away.
