As the Detroit Lions continue their dominant 12-1 season and emerge as strong Super Bowl contenders, fans are seeing more than just the team’s success on the field — they’re also feeling it in their wallets. According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions are once again raising season ticket prices for the 2025 season.
Birkett shared that the Lions sent out season ticket renewal information recently, noting that all seats are seeing some form of increase, with most price hikes falling in the 10-30% range. While ticket prices are still considered to be discounted compared to the secondary market, the Lions' increasing demand has left 22,000 people on the waiting list for tickets.
Birkett also reported that the Lions’ prices for next season are expected to be around the league average for NFL teams, reflecting the team's success on the field and the in-stadium experience.
While a successful team and a packed stadium are great for the Lions, the rising ticket prices are a reminder that their growing popularity is also driving up the cost for fans eager to see their team in action.
