The Detroit Lions have until 4 p.m. on Saturday to trim their roster from 90 to 53 and that trimming is underway.
According to a report from Michael Rothstein of ESPN, the Lions are releasing CB Andre Chachere. As Rothstein notes, Chachere is practice squad eligible.

Chachere is the second CB the Lions are reportedly releasing as Teez Tabor will also be officially cut before the Saturday deadline.
