The news that Detroit Lions fans have been waiting to hearts finally come to pass – they’ve officially relieved maligned head coach Matt Patricia and GM Bob Quinn of their duties.

And this time around, they’ll allegedly be going elsewhere in assistance for their new head coach and GM. They won’t be employing the services of Ernie Accorsi in their search. According to Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press, the Lions will employ Len Perna of Turnkey Sports:
However, according to team president Rod Wood, no such engagement with a firm has taken place yet.
