According to a report, the Detroit Lions are set to work out former Chargers and Eagles DB Jaylen Watkins sometime this week. As noted by Ian Rapoport, Watkins played for Lions defensive coordinator Cory Undlin in Philly, do don’t be surprised if this marriage happens soon.

The Lions working out DBs comes as no surprise as both Justin Coleman and Desmond Trufant suffered hamstring injuries during Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears. In addition, rookie CB Jeff Okudah (hamstring) missed the game.
Former #Chargers and #Texans DB Jaylen Watkins is set to work out for the #Lions this week source said, as Detroit was hit with injuries in the secondary. Watkins, 1 of 3 working out, played for now-#Lions DC Cory Undlin in Philly, and that may give him the leg up.
