According to a report from Field Yates, the Detroit Lions tried to claim former Philadelphia Eagles WR Mack Hollins off waivers but the Miami Dolphins, who had higher priority, beat them to the punch.
One other team tried to claim former Eagles WR Mack Hollins besides the Dolphins: the Lions. Would have been some developmental WR depth. Miami had priority over Detroit in the waiver order.

Hollins, who is a speedster, would have been a possible replacement for Marvin Hall, who is out for the season.
