The 2020 NBA Draft is officially in the books and thanks to general manager Troy Weaver making a trio of trades, the Detroit Pistons walked away with four new players.
According to Rod Beard of the Detroit News, the four new Pistons’ rookies have already found out their jersey numbers and as you can see below, Killian Hayes, who was the Pistons’ first selection in the draft, will wear No. 7.
Looks like #Pistons rookies will wear the following jersey numbers:
Killian Hayes: 7
Saddiq Bey: 41
Isaiah Stewart: 28
Saban Lee: 38— Rod Beard (@detnewsRodBeard) November 21, 2020
Ever since Beard tweeted out these numbers, there have been fans who have responded by saying that Hayes should wear a different number as No. 7 is ‘cursed’ in the Pistons’ franchise history.
Here is a list of all of the former Pistons who have worn the No. 7. Nation, do you agree the No. 7 is cursed or will Hayes prove that theory wrong?
