The question around these parts is what will the Detroit Pistons do?

According to a recent report from The Athletic, the Pistons have made every single player on their roster available for trade as owner Tom Gores seems to realize that just getting into the playoffs as a No. 7 or No. 8 seed is not the way to go.

One player who has been been the center of quite a few rumors is guard, Derrick Rose. Rose has been rumored to be a player who could be moved to a contender if they are willing to give the Pistons a first-round pick in return.

That being said, a report that surfaced on Wednesday night says that Rose is likely to stay put in Detroit barring an unforeseen offer.

Derrick Rose doesn’t want to be traded from the Detroit Pistons despite widespread interest, and barring an unforeseen offer, he’ll be a Piston for the remainder of the season, sources told Yahoo Sports.

If the Pistons are able to fetch an offer for Rose that includes a lottery pick, it’s something the franchise will seriously consider as they ponder a rebuild, sources told Yahoo Sports.

But it appears likely Rose will stay in Detroit with the Pistons, the franchise that gave him a two-year deal this off-season at a cap-friendly number of $15 million.
