Though the Detroit Pistons don’t have the worst record in the NBA anymore, there is no question about it that they have had a rough season. Another team that has had a rough season is the Los Angeles Lakers, who are currently 19-23, despite having the great LeBron James on their roster. According to a report, the Pistons and Lakers have had trade discussions.
What trade are the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers talking about?
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, the Lakers and Pistons have discussed a deal that would send both Bojan Bogdanović and Nerlens Noel to Los Angeles.
The report noted that the Pistons are demanding draft assets for Bogdanović, and the Lakers would almost certainly have to give Detroit a first-round pick to get a deal done.
So far during the 2022-23 season, Bogdanović is averaging a career-high 21.2 points to go along with 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Considering Bogdanović will soon turn 34 years old, and the Pistons are a ways away from truly contending for a title, unloading him for draft assets would be a wise move.
