After sweeping the Minnesota Twins, the Detroit Tigers are now .500 on the season with the MLB trade deadline upon us.
Tigers GM Al Avila has made it pretty clear that he is not willing to give up prospects to win now but the question is, will he sell off some players before today's deadline passes?
Well, according to Jon Morosi, Avila gave a pretty big hint about what he plans to do on Monday.
Morosi is reporting that the Tigers are not engaging in trade talks on Jonathan Schoop, a player who will be a free agent following the season. Because of that, this is a pretty big hint that Avila will not make any big moves today.
Source: The #Tigers are not engaging in trade talks on Jonathan Schoop, a free agent after this year. Schoop would be a natural player to move if the Tigers planned to sell. Thus, it appears they won't. They are 16-16 and trail the #BlueJays by 2 games for final AL playoff spot.

Nation, is this the right move by Avila?
