According to Tony Paul of the Detroit News, Detroit Tigers GM Al Avila and manager Ron Gardenhire will hold a press conference at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

There is no word about what the press conference will be about though there has been some speculation that it could be about Gardenhire’s future with the Tigers.
