According to a report from Jon Morosi, the Detroit Tigers are not wasting any time as they have already interviewed former Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch.
A.J. Hinch interviewed for #Tigers managerial job today, sources tell @beckjason and me. In a sign of Detroit’s interest, the interview occurred less than 48 hours after the final out of the World Series made the conversation possible. @MLBNetwork @MLB

From Earlier:
Just moments ago, the Chicago White Sox announced they have hired Hall of Famer Tony La Russa to be their next manager.
With La Russa heading to the White Sox, there are now reports that former Houston Astros manager A.J. Hinch is interviewing with the Detroit Tigers.
Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic is not only reporting that Hinch is interviewing with the Tigers but that with the White Sox job off the table, things could move quickly.
Hinch is indeed interviewing with the Tigers. And with the White Sox job off the board, things could move quickly https://t.co/mSTcK0ISRK

Nation, would you like to see the Tigers hire Hinch to lead the team into the future.
In my opinion, this is a no-brainer, and Tigers GM Al Avila should do whatever it takes to make sure Hinch does not leave town without a contract.
