Yesterday a report surfaced that the Detroit Tigers were interested in signing free agent middle infielder, Addison Russell.
On Friday, that report was squashed.
The Tigers, per source, have no interest in free agent shortstop Addison Russell. Reports to the contrary are unfounded.

Now, Jon Heyman is reporting the Tigers are looking for a corner OF, corner IF, catcher, and pitcher.

Thank goodness this report has emerged because there is room on the Tigers for a player with a background like Russell has.
