According to Anthony Fenech, Brandon Dixon of the Detroit Tigers was selected by Major League Baseball to submit a ‘random’ drug test following Wednesday’s win over the Baltimore Orioles.

With the score tied 2-2 in the top of the ninth inning, Dixon belted a 2-run, game-winning home run for the Tigers. It was Dixon’s fifth home run of the season in 27 games (72 at bats). In 2018 with the Reds, he hit five dingers in 118 at bats.
Was the drug test random? Maybe. Or was it because Dixon is now averaging a home run every 14.4 at bats?
You be the judge.
