On Saturday, Detroit Tigers GM Al Avila announced that manager Ron Gardenhire was retiring immediately.
Ever since then, there has been plenty of speculation as to who will replace Gardenhire as Tigers manager beginning with the 2020-21 season.
According to MLB insider Jon Morosi, the Tigers are expected to consider 8 candidates, including Don Kelly and A.J. Hinch.
Nation which of these candidates do you prefer?
#Tigers expected to consider A.J. Hinch, Will Venable, George Lombard, Vance Wilson, Don Kelly, Pedro Grifol, and Mike Redmond for managerial vacancy, among others, in addition to internal candidate Lloyd McClendon. Strong list for an appealing job. @MLBNetwork @MLB
