On Monday night, a rumor surfaced from Eli Zaret that Detroit Lions owner Martha Ford had met with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos multiple times about selling the team.
On Tuesday, the Ford family confirmed that the Bezos rumor was simply that and they have no intention to sell the team to anyone.
Lions ownership has told Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn they will be back in 2020 with expectation to be playoff contender next season.
Also, Jeff Bezos rumor is junk. Ford family confirms it has no intention of selling the franchise to Amazon founder or anyone else.
