According to reports, former Detroit Lions‘ general manager Martin Mayhew is in the running to land another NFL gig.

He is reportedly in Texas to interview for the vacant Houston Texans‘ general manager position.

Mayhew, who is currently the Senior Personnel Executive for the San Francisco 49ers, was GM of the Lions from 2008-2015. During that stretch, the Lions were 41-63 with two playoff appearances.
