On Tuesday, the Detroit Lions announced they signed a free agent wide receiver.
Many Lions fans figured that WR would be former New England Patriot Dontrelle Inman, who asked for and was granted his release on Sunday.
Though Inman seemed to be a good fit for the Lions, they decided to sign former Oakland Raiders WR, Jordan Lasley.
According to Ian Rapoport, Inman did meet with the Lions on Monday, but he left without a contract.
Former #Patriots WR Dontrelle Inman is currently on a free-agent visit with the #Jets, source said. He was with the #Lions yesterday, but they signed WR Jordan Lasley this morning.

Nation, did the Lions make the right decision to sign Lasley over Inman?
Time will tell.
