On Thursday, Martha Ford announced that the Lions were relieving team president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mayhew of their duties.
The move to hire an outside firm shows the Lions are serious about hiring the best person available for each position and that they are willing to admit they cannot do it on their own. There are sure to be favorites to land the position of general manager, but the Lions will exhaust all of their resources to find the best fit.
What do you think Nation, did the Ford’s make the right move by hiring an outside firm to help them out?
