Earlier in the week, the Detroit Lions placed Matthew Stafford on the reserve/COVID-19 list after he came into close contact with somebody who tested positive for the coronavirus.

Stafford flew to Minnesota on a private jet and isolated himself from his teammates in the Lions team hotel until his latest test came back negative on Sunday morning.
But according to ESPN, Stafford actually had a false-positive result on Wednesday, which if true would be his second false positive in the last three months.
Didn’t have the sound on, but on the ESPN bug talking about Stafford’s return it said he had another false positive on Wednesday. That would be his second false positive in 3 months

No wonder Kelly Stafford is so upset.
