It wasn't the NFL debut that Detroit Lions cornerback and 1st round draft selection Jeff Okudah was hoping for against the Green Bay Packers yesterday afternoon.

And according to outspoken 97.1 The Ticket host Mike Valenti, there may be some additional issues with the former Ohio State Buckeye.
Valenti began his show this afternoon with a radio tease regarding Okudah:
“I have got something that is pretty impeccably sourced,” Valenti said. “Getting some reports here that Mr. Okudah may not have the best attitude.”
While he didn't name any of his alleged sources, Valenti then went on to say that he's heard from those same sources that apparently, head coach Matt Patricia didn't want to draft Okudah with their valuable 1st round selection.
“From what I was told, no one on player personnel wanted to take him at No. 3,” Valenti said. “Your head coach didn't want Okudah at 3. Bob Quinn decided, ‘I am the smartest guy in the room. I'm taking Okudah at 3.'
And I got that from two different people.
If the Lions are upset with it, too bad. Tell people in your building to stop saying it.”
That's certainly a bold claim for Valenti to make without giving up any of his alleged sources within the Lions organization. Do you believe that his claims are legitimate?
